Cara Hutt - Founder & CEO

I bring creative instinct and strategic clarity to every communications challenge — grounded in nearly two decades of experience working at scale and rooted in a deep commitment to this region.

Over my career, I’ve led and supported communications work for globally and nationally recognized organizations, including roles with CNN, Cox Automotive (including Kelley Blue Book and Autotrader), Chick-fil-A, Inc., and Genuine Parts Company (NAPA Auto Parts). My experience spans journalism, brand positioning, messaging, media relations, internal and change communications, and high-visibility campaigns — often in complex, fast-moving environments where clarity, judgment, and credibility matter most.

I’m originally from Northwest Florida, and after building my career in cities like, D.C., Jacksonville, and Atlanta, I came home because I care deeply about this area and its future. I started Hutt Strategic Communications to offer businesses communications strategy shaped by seasoned experience, strong editorial instinct, and the ability to adapt as conditions change. Ruby: Killer Beauty Queen
Ruby’s a real Southern belle — elegant, graceful, and a true head turner. But beneath that beauty queen exterior lies the heart of a killer. Squirrels quake at the sound of her bark. Lizards scamper at the rumble of her footsteps. Quail ascend to the heavens at the mere smell of her. But, Ruby isn’t always on the hunt. Her sweet soul craves love and a good head scratch. She enjoys a leisurely lounge and is often found snoozing away on the nearest bed.

Every great company needs a great muse — or in our case, muses. Just like our work, these ladies act with instinct, precision, adaptability and discipline — all while keeping a strong sense of play.

Glory: Codependent Clown
Glory, “Glo Glo” Hutt is a sweet goof whose little legs are a bit too short for her body. She has a relentless drive for snuggles and does whatever it takes to get them. Reading the news on your phone? Don’t think so, she’ll nose it right out of your hand. Taking an afternoon nap? Not anymore, because she’s standing on your chest. She has a deep hatred for personal space and needs you to pay attention to her RIGHT NOW.
